My Autobiography
My name is Jeremiah Jallah, and I was born on April 1, 2006, in Kingsville Township, Careysburg District, Montserrado County, Liberia, unto the union of Marie Joseph and Kamah Tonia Jallah.
I was born into a humble family where hard work, perseverance, faith, and determination have always been important values. My mother, Marie Joseph, is a farmer and marketer, while my father, Kamah Tonia Jallah, is a mechanic. Growing up, I learned from their lives that success requires commitment, patience, and the willingness to keep working even when circumstances are difficult.
After the death of my grandfather, Tambah T. Varney, I was raised by my grandmother, Tenneh T. Varney. She is a devoted Christian whose guidance, faith, love, and discipline became an important part of my upbringing. Her influence helped shape many of the values I carry with me today.
My Educational Journey
My educational journey began at Lydia B. Sando Mission School in Kingsville Township, Careysburg District, Montserrado County, Liberia, where I received my early childhood education.
I later continued my elementary education at Division 11 Elementary School System in Firestone, Margibi County, during the 2016–2017 academic year. After the passing of my grandfather, I continued my education at Ernest Jerome Yancy School System in Kakata, Margibi County, during the 2017–2018 academic year.
From 2018 to 2021, I attended Potter Foundation Academy in Kakata, Liberia. During those years, I experienced financial challenges that made my educational journey difficult at times. However, I refused to allow those circumstances to stop me from pursuing my education.
During the 2021–2022 academic year, I attended John S. Varfley Public School, continuing to work toward my academic goals.
I later enrolled at Kingsville Public High School, where I completed my secondary education. In 2025, I successfully earned my high school diploma, an achievement that represented years of effort, sacrifice, challenges, and determination.
Today, I am continuing my education at the Booker Washington Institute (BWI) in Kakata, Margibi County, Liberia, where I am studying Architecture Drafting.
My Passion for Creativity
My journey is not only about education. I have always been interested in creativity, visual expression, design, and storytelling.
As I developed my skills, I became involved in architecture drafting, graphic design, videography, photography, video editing, creative branding, and spoken word. These different forms of creativity allow me to express my ideas and turn imagination into something people can see, experience, and understand.
My passion for these areas led me to develop my creative identity and brand, Jer Jer Visual.
Through Jer Jer Visual, I aim to combine my knowledge of architectural drafting with my skills in visual storytelling, graphic design, photography, videography, branding, and other creative forms. My vision is to create meaningful work that represents creativity, originality, and impact.
My personal motto is:
“Where Imagination Meets Reality.”
To me, creativity is more than simply making something beautiful. It is about taking an idea that exists in the mind and giving it a form that others can see and appreciate.
Challenges That Shaped Me
My life has not always been easy. I have experienced the loss of a loved one, financial difficulties, changes in my educational journey, and moments when the future was uncertain.
There were times when circumstances could have discouraged me from continuing. However, every challenge taught me something.
I learned that difficult circumstances do not have to define my future. I learned to keep believing in myself, to remain patient, and to continue moving forward even when progress seemed slow.
The people who raised and supported me also taught me the importance of faith, hard work, humility, perseverance, and hope.
My journey has therefore become a story of continuing despite difficulties.
My Vision for the Future
As I continue studying Architecture Drafting and developing my creative abilities, I am working toward building a future where I can use my skills to create opportunities for myself and contribute positively to my community and Liberia.
I want to continue improving as a drafter, graphic designer, videographer, photographer, video editor, creative artist, and spoken-word artist. I also want to grow Jer Jer Visual into a meaningful creative brand that represents quality, imagination, and professionalism.
My dream is not simply to become successful for myself. I want my journey to inspire other young people who may be facing financial difficulties, loss, uncertainty, or other challenges.
I want them to understand that where you begin does not necessarily determine where you can go.
My Story Continues
When I look back at my journey—from Kingsville Township to Kakata, through different schools, different experiences, personal challenges, and important milestones—I see a story that is still being written.
I am still learning. I am still growing. I am still discovering what I am capable of becoming.
I do not consider my story finished because I have achieved a few milestones. Instead, I see every achievement as another step toward a much bigger vision.
I carry the lessons of my family, the guidance of my grandmother, the experiences of my education, and the challenges I have faced with me as I move forward.
I believe that a difficult beginning does not have to determine the destination.
My name is Jeremiah Jallah.
I am a young Liberian, an Architecture Drafting student, and a creative who believes in the power of imagination, education, perseverance, and hard work.
This is my story.
And my story is still being written.
